I bought a good knife, it was a good purchase. But this sharpener was an even better purchase; it arrived yesterday and has already saved a couple of knives that I thought were lost. Probably the best cost-benefit investment in a long time.
The ordered item arrived well packed in a foam box as shown in attached photo. Have quickly used for in order to know how well it works & is the knife sharp. It is just that the sharpening diamond disc may wear out very fast compared to a sharpening stone.

I've sharpened my japanese and german kitchen knives. This is a great sharpener. I decided on 400 and 1000 grit diamonds. I'll probably get a finer grit for polished finishes, but it's not needed.

I liked the sharpener. I didn't even have to learn how to sharpen; everything is absolutely elementary. Any housewife who has never used anything like this before can handle kitchen knives. The only downside is that small knives cannot be sharpened. The sharpener is more suited not for folding knives with a small blade, but rather for larger kitchen knives with a wide blade.
This isn't the first time I've ordered one; they are really great. It sharpens knives very well. I recommend it for the price. I think it's worth it to have good, well-sharpened knives.

It came well packaged. It fulfills its function very well and it is noticeable that it corrects the imperfections of the edge before moving on to other softer files to polish the edge.
The height of the holding block is 25mm. The height of the rolling piece is 53mm. So it is very difficult to use with my boning knife, which is thin. And i put the rolling piece on a wooden cutting board to be able to use it on my santoku knife, which is 55mm large. So best for knives larger than 25mm and under 52mm, but it is possible to find a solution anyway ^_^ The rolling itself is good.
