This product offers excellent value for money. Don't worry about it, just buy it.
It's an incredible harmonica for the price it has. I haven't had time to play with it yet, but the first impression is very good, the high notes are perfect. The overall fit could be improved, but for the price it's impossible to ask for more. It gives the feeling of being high-end but at a more than reasonable price. This is the second JDR I've bought; I bought the Trochilus and was so delighted with its value for money that I bought this one too. If the Trochilus is this good despite not having valves, how good would this one be with valves and the improvement in its high notes? And certainly it has not disappointed me, I would buy it again without hesitation. Don't expect the quality of a Seydel with steel reeds, but brands that claim to be high-end and still use brass in their reeds make them look inferior due to their far superior quality and other high-end brands that do use phosphor bronze make them look inferior due to their price.
